The best time for visiting Har Ki Dun Trek
In summers you should visit between April- June and post monsoon you should visit between September- December. In case you’re interested in snow, then winters would be the best time to visit this trek.
Summers- you may expect the pleasing weather conditions during summers. Generally there’s less fog and the sky also remains clear. In case you’re planning to trek during summers then you should carry lightweight woollens as the temperature remains quite low during night.
Monsoon- during monsoon, the trails become quite risky due to landslide. The roads are blocked. But the scenic beauty is breath-taking.
Winters- Solitude and serenity are at their possible best during the winter season. The region experiences snowfall and it is difficult to find accommodation. In case you’re travelling to this trek during winters, then also you need to carry your woollens.
