Our Voyage will start from Delhi the capital of India; our team will pick you up from Volvo pickup stand at 5 PM and board bus for the journey to the Backpacker’s town Manali. As it will be almost 12 hours journey from Delhi to Manali (560 km) it will start giving you the hilly experiences and also the exciting feel that how awesome your trip is going to be. Meanwhile, your jaw will be half open having the breathtaking views of villages along our way to Manali. A part of Bias River Valley, Manali is situated at an altitude of more than 2000 meter from where you have the views of wooden forests, orchards, river, endless Himalayan mountain ranges and more, for nothing but sheer visual delight. Volvo will be the in charge of your comfort concerns during overnight journeys.
Arriving Manali in the morning, check into the hotel and take some rest. After that, you will be introduced to your companions i.e. your bikes. Our team will provide you every detailed introduction and all tiny information about the routes, maps, destinations, rules & regulations and also, guide you for improving riding skills for high altitude Himalayan roads. You can also take a ride to witness quaint charming places of Manali like Hadimba Temple (also referred to as Dhoongri temple; it is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba who was wife of mightiest of the five Pandavas – Bhim), Local Tibetan Monasteries, Nature Reserve (if avifauna interest a tourist to Manali, this is best to enjoy some of the colors in wings and sky) and Old Manali (swaying eucalyptus, lovely roads, sweet little eateries, small kitschy marketplaces and cafes that serve your favorite continental food), Manu Maharishi temple (one and only temple in India dedicated to Rishi Manu after whom the town is named). You will enjoy delicious local food of Manali and night stay at the hotel.
Having some healthy breakfast, we will start riding toward Jispa crossing Rohtang Pass (13000 ft above sea level). Rohtang Pass is the nature’s most bewitching and venturous pass of the Himalayas which connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh. So along with our way, you will enjoy the scenic beauty of these Valleys and Chandra & Bhaga Rivers. Jispa (12000ft) located 20 km north of Keylong whose riverside and Himalayan mountain backdrop is sure to leave anyone breathless. Arriving at Jispa will be all for the first day of our trip from Manali. Stay will be overnight at Jispa in camps directly under the sky and magnificent stars with refreshing Campfire.
At morning after breakfast, we start riding toward Pang crossing Baralacha La (16500 ft) the third highest motorable pass in the world. On the way passing by two marvelous lakes Deepak Taal & Suraj Taal. Deepak Tal is a small manmade lake near Patseo having its own charm whereas Suraj Taal Lake (second highest lake in India and 21st highest lake in the world) is the origin of Bhaga River, a tributary of the Chenab River. The Chandra River originates from moon shaped lake; Chandra Lake. The feeling of passing through this particular pass has a feeling of its own kind and you also will experience that by yourself. Pang, is where you really start to see those unique looking soil formations on the mountains and special colors of Ladakh will become more prominent just around Pang and onwards. Arriving at Pang, the overnight stay will be in camp.
Finally, we start riding from Pang towards Dream place Leh crossing 22 Gata loops (Gata Loops just before climbing Naked La – a series of 22 hairpin bends) and 45 km Pang ground. Taglang Pass is nestled at an altitude of 17480 ft above the sea level, in the Zanskar range, which is the second highest mountain pass in Ladakh. On arrival, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Time to turn on the adventure mode at Khardungla (also popularly known as K-top) the doorway to Shyok and Nubra valleys and the world’s topmost motorable pass according to BRO (Border Road Organization), with almost ‘Heart in mouth’ condition! The ‘Khardungla’ is located on the Ladakh range which is 40 km from Leh and It is positioned at an altitude of 18,380 ft. and is also known as the ‘Pass of Lower Castle’. The place offers amazing picturesque and attractive views of valleys. In addition, Tibetan prayer flags add numerous colors to the scenic beauty. Khardungla is a very significant Historical place of major caravan route from Leh to Kashgar. Bikers from all over the world visit this mountain pass on their motorcycles and do mountain biking which is a refreshing and remarkable experience for a lifetime. Further, we will ride towards Nubra Valley, arriving at Nubra overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Early morning after breakfast, we will explore the beauty of Nubra valley which is also known as the ‘Orchard of the Desert’. The entire Nubra valley is a tourist destination in itself there’s nothing that isn’t worth visiting. Nubra is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is about 150 km north of Leh town, the capital of Ladakh district, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The beauty of this cold desert is an experience to cherish for the lifetime. In the evening, we return back to Leh for an overnight stay at the hotel.
In morning, we start riding to Pangong Tso Lake by sharing a car, climax scene of phunsuk wangdu! (Three Idiots Movie) Pangong-Tso (Pangong Lake) is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas and one of the largest brackish lakes in Asia; Situated at a height of 14000 feet, the lake is 130 km long, 45 km of which lies in India while the remaining stays in China. It is Shaded from an ink blue to a turquoise to an aquamarine to a purple to other brilliant colors, you have to see it to believe it. The Lake is 5 km wide at its broadest point and during winter the lake freezes completely despite being saline water. After seeing the whole view you will be like” Jahanpanah! Tussi great ho! ” . In the evening return back to Leh and the overnight stay will be at hotel.
Starting our return journey riding toward Sarchu even heart is still denying. By evening, we reach to Sarchu and check in at camp and Overnight with one last great campfire that would never fade away from your memories of Leh.
Early morning after having breakfast, we start riding back toward Manali. On arrival, check in at hotel and time to say goodbye to your best companion throughout the entire adventurous trip. This will be the end of motorbiking. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Today is a free day to relax and for the restless ones to explore and soak the beauty of Manali and nearby places one more time! In the evening we will depart for Delhi by Volvo bus.

A. 60% Roads are in good condition, in other 40% you can experience off road driving.

A. No, you do not need to carry any kit regarding bike repair. We will provide you mechanic and every tool you do need during the trip.

Q. What riding gear do I need for Ladakh trip?
A. This is the kind of trip riding gear is made for. Get a riding jacket, pants, shoes, gloves and full face helmet. Keep in mind that all of your riding gear should be good to go against rain, hail and snow.
Q. Do I need to carry thermal wear?
A. Yes there will be very cold, so it is advisory to carry thermal wear.
Q. What kind of food you provide during the trip?
A. We provide food for 2 times in a day i.e. Breakfast & Dinner.
Q. Do I need to carry any documents with me?
A. Carry an original Driving Licence card and a passport size photograph.
Q. Is there any lack of oxygen during trip?
A. Anybody travelling 10,000 feet above sea level will find difficulty in breathing or is likely to fall prey to altitude sickness. It happens due to low level of atmospheric oxygen. The biggest cause of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is dehydration. People on the trip forget to drink enough water, they just keep on riding.
To beat AMS, take the following steps:
1. Drink lots and lots of water mixed with glucose.
2. Take everything slow. Even little labor at high altitudes will leave you spent.
3. Take one Diamox at Manali on the morning when you leave for Leh. Diamox takes one hour to start working.
4. Don’t push too hard, take the trip slow. Ascent slowly, decent slowly.
5. If you feel the symptoms creeping up, stop and take some rest. Don’t keep pushing.
Q. Which language speaks in ladakh?
A. Ladakhi people speaks local Ladakhi language though all of them understand Hindi with some of them (city dwellers) understand English too.
Q. What about money exchange, can we use Debit/credit cards?
A. Money can be exchanged only in Manali & Leh town, you can also use debit/credit card in few of the reputed shops and hotels but at additional 2% service tax.
Q. Which network is accessible?
A. During whole trip you can get BSNL network at some places, in Manali you can get every mobile network but in Ladakh region you can only access postpaid BSNL, Idea, Airtel and Vodafone.
