Dehradun to Sankri (1920m)
So, we are all set to experience the adventure and we will be heading towards Sankri, the base camp location of our exhilarating Bali pass Trek.
Various historical sites of architectural value can be found here with auspicious temples that are renowned. We will pick you up at 7.00 AM from the Dehradun Railway station and from then on we are the companions of the most awaited trip. We will drive to Sankri via the queen of hills i.e. Mussoorie. Ironically, popular tourist destinations don’t even deserve your attention when you’re on a bigger journey like this. Mussoorie is not just another hill station on the way but has a pretty rich history in itself. Ruskin Bond, Stephen Alter, and Bill Aitkin (to name a few) all call Mussoorie their home.
The British architecture can still be spotted across the town. Snow-clad hills start to show up in the distance from Mussoorie onwards. We will also have the awesome views of “Kempty Falls” en-routing Sankri. Sankri is the base camp of this exhilarating expedition and the entry point to the charismatic Har Ki Dun. It is a scenic village that is conveniently situated at the astounding pinnacle of 1950 meters, in the Tons Valley with elating views of the Himalayas.
It is magically located 13 km inside the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. The beautiful sun setting behind the Himalayas coupled with the shimmer of the Swargarohini peak makes Sankri an ideal base camp amidst the ridges. Reaching Sankri, we will explore the scenic hamlet to prepare for the trek that lays ahead and overnight stay at Sankri.
Sankri to Taluka to Seema (2560m)
Waking up to a bright new morning, this beautiful abode offers extraordinary sceneries within the prominent mountain backdrops. So, we will drive towards Taluka and from Sankri, we are going to trek towards Seema. While trekking along the Supin River and through the pine forest passing by the picturesque locations, with lush-green valley around and peaceful environment you just feel like heaven on earth. Reaching Seema will have some tasty food and doze-off in the tents under the luminous sky.
Seema to Rainbasera (3100m)
After having some yummy breakfast we will trek towards Rainbasera. We will stop for a while at Debshu Bugyal, from where we will get a splendid view of Black Peak. After crossing Debshu Bugyal, we will get off through the forest. View of each and every location is awe-inspiring; crossing the Supin River through a bridge enjoying the company of your group trekkers until we reach our campsite. Overnight stay will be at the camps.
Rainbasera to Ruinsara Tal (3550m)
So, today is the 4th day of our adventure trek and we are all set to trek towards the beautiful Ruinsara Tal surrounded by grasslands and rhododendron bushes. Up above are the sapphire blue skies, and around are the thick forests of chestnut, deodar and sycamore. Trekking along starry, impish, gushing streams and cascades will be an unforgettable experience. Reaching this lovely lake will be all for the day, and we will end up enjoying the night stay at camps.
Ruinsara Tal to Odari (4000m)
Starting the day at the scenic Ruinsara, we will be trekking towards Odari. Odari means a naturally made rock cave. According to the traditional knowledge, it is believed that Bali (Hanuman’s brother) slept in here for one night. The views of mighty peaks are simply striking. On reaching Odari overnight stay will be at camps.

Once we reach the pass we will enjoy the breath-taking views of mighty snow-clad peaks, and rest for some time and start again towards Lower Dhamni reaching Lower Dhamni will be all for day 7th. Overnight stay will be at camps.
Lower Dhamni to Jaan Ki Chatti to Dehradun
So, today is the last day of our adventurous Bali Pass trek, and we will be trekking towards Yamunotri which will be around 1-2 hours trek. On reaching Yamunotri we all can take a dip in the hot water springs of Yamunotri, which will make you feel relax and give you some relief from body ache.
