Day 1: Ahmedabad to Bhuj (330km)

So, here we start our adventurous bike trip journey to Bhuj from Ahmedabad the heart of Gujarat. We will start riding towards Bhuj the gateway to “The Great Rann of Kutch” and the most popular handicraft centre of India. Bhuj being the capital of Kutch serves as the centre of tourist attractions such as: Museums, Palaces, Textile and of course the natural beauty. Bhuj has always been the most important and popular town of Kutch. Arriving to Bhuj, after a long ride we will have some popular Bhuj dishes and enjoy the night stay at hotel.


Day 2: Bhuj to Mandavi (65km) DJ party evening

After having some tasty Bhuj breakfast, we will head towards Mandvi the port city of Kutch. The popular tourist attraction “The Vijay Vilas Palace” in Mandvi has also been the shooting location for some of the popular Bollywood movie scenes such as of Hum dil de chuke sanam and Lagaan. The shipbuilding industry is the center of life in Mandvi. Beaches in Mandvi are worth visiting. Mandvi is a unique town which captures the true Gujarat, Kutchi culture. And the fun-night begins where we will dance, sing and have loads of fun at the DJ Party, and after enjoying some enticing Mandavi dinner we will spend the night at hotel.


Day 3: Mandavi to Dhordo (140km)

So, the 3rd day of adventurous bike trip starts after having delicious Gujarati breakfast, and we are heading towards “The White Desert Beauty – Dhordo” what seems like white sand here is actually salt and you see it endlessly.You can walk into the salt pans and feel the rawness of the place, there is salt in the air, under your feet its everywhere and makes for stunning photography. This is a dreamland for birdwatchers. The place is full of splendor of nature and has calm & serene environment. The cool breeze and shining sun makes the trip an unforgettable experience of your life. After having dinner we will spend the night at hotel.

A. No, you do not need to carry any kit regarding bike repair. We will provide you mechanic and every tool you do need during the trip.

A. In backup vehicle we mostly provide Tempo Traveller / Tata Sumo / Mahindra Bolero

Q. What riding gear do I need for Spiti Valley Bike Trip?
A. This is the kind of trip riding gear is made for. Get a riding jacket, pants, shoes, gloves and full face helmet. Keep in mind that all of your riding gear should be good to go against rain, hail and snow.

Q. Do I need to carry thermal wear?
A. Yes there will be very cold, so it is advisory to carry thermal wear.

Q. What kind of food you provide during the trip?
A. We provide food for 2 times in a day i.e. Breakfast & Dinner.

Q. Do I need to carry any documents with me?
A. Carry an original Driving Licence card and a passport size photograph.

Q. Is there any lack of oxygen during trip?
A. Anybody travelling 10,000 feet above sea level will find difficulty in breathing or is likely to fall prey to altitude sickness. It happens due to low level of atmospheric oxygen. The biggest cause of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is dehydration. People on the trip forget to drink enough water, they just keep on riding.
To beat AMS, take the following steps:
1. Drink lots and lots of water mixed with glucose.
2. Take everything slow. Even little labor at high altitudes will leave you spent.
3. Take one Diamox at Manali on the morning when you leave for Leh. Diamox takes one hour to start working.
4. Don’t push too hard, take the trip slow. Ascent slowly, decent slowly.
5. If you feel the symptoms creeping up, stop and take some rest. Don’t keep pushing.

Q. Which language speaks in Spiti Valley?
A. Local people speaks Lahuali and Spiti language though all of them understand Hindi with some of them (city dwellers) understand English too.

Q. What about money exchange, can we use Debit/credit cards?
A. Money can be exchanged only in Manali town only, you can also use debit/credit card in few of the reputed shops and hotels but at additional 2% service tax.

A. During whole trip you can get BSNL network at some places, in Manali you can get every mobile network.
